LFW - Pam Hogg
Monday 23rd February 2010
Save the best till last ey! Pam Hogg at On | Off...only one word can describe it...LEGENDARY.
She is Punk at its finest, and the collection screams Hogg's personality as Alice Dellal once again fiercely walks down the runway and Jethro Cave making out with his model girlfriend on the catwalk in true Rock 'N' Roll style.
The collection had Hogg's trademark catsuits in white, black, and red, with large netted head-pieces and gorgeous lace added to complete the looks. Provocative pieces were on display as some of the girls were just had a piece of ribbon covering their naughty bits. Siouxie Sioux ofcourse had to complete the show by modelling and walking down the catwalk with Pam for the finale.
I had the super cool job of looking after the Celebs and VIPs and making sure they were sat in the right places. I had Mel Blatt from All Saints with her kids, Jaime Winstone with her 'Allo Daaaahlin' and 'Fanks Babes' (I love her), Peaches G who I had a brief catchup with from school times, and ofcourse the Punk Rock elite: Nick Cave, Sue Webster, Bobby Gillespie, Pearl Lowe, and Tim Noble. Ofcourse there were the Tranny crews who were Pam's buds. Jodie Harsh lovely as always, Pandemonia Panacea in her trademark inflatable plastic Barbie suit....yes your kooky and original Pandy, but we didn't appreciate the sweat literally pouring out of your arm holes. Gross.
Afterparty at Mahiki....what can I tell you....barely anything because I can't remember so it must have been good! I do remember one of the highlights of the night...having a discussion with the legendary Siouxie Sioux about the smoking ban...brilliant.

LFW - Falguni & Shane Peacock
Sunday, 21st February 2010
2nd Show was Falguni & Shane Peacock which to be honest I had never heard of before. They are based in India and are huge celebs over there, Beyonce and Frieda Pinto are also big fans of their work.
After getting all the guests seated (including my mother and her friend who HAD to be front row), I took my place at the back to watch the show. I was completely mesmerized by the prints, quality, and detail of the collection. The design is quite Cavalli-esque but they still manage to make it their own. You can instantly recognize the Indian heritage in the clothes, and many of the dresses I would wear myself.
Falguni & Peacock really need to get noticed here in the UK because they are truly underestimated for their talent.

London Fashion Week - PPQ
Saturday 21st February 2010
For LFW I worked with Snow PR doing Front of House for 3 of their shows which was so much fun!
First show was PPQ, which was absolute hell and extremely manic, what with Jack getting verbal abuse from the VIP and Celebs, and a few of them starting on me...but still loved it!
To be honest I expected more from the collection, as PPQ is known to be quite pretty with their prints, but this collection was mainly black and gold which is fine, but just expected a lot more from Percy and Amy.
Nevertheless we did get to perve on George Lamb which is always a delight.
